You might need a new lift after that. Just beautiful to see one run.
Smart.
Der is aber schön restauriert! Er ist ein Benziner. Tadelloser Traktor, …Der Zeit voraus. Geht heute noch. Ein feldgerät wegen der eisenraeder. Konvektionskuehlung.
Very nice! 👍🏻
That is a work of art. I have a 1941 Ford 9N that is also a work of art. Do the wheels damage the concrete?
Super
Look Mama ... no hands, 😱
Beautiful tractor! Flatheads forever!!!
Top vedio 👍👍
Simply beautiful
Did a nice job on that old tractor if I do say so myself looks a lot better than them damn Rusty ones congratulations on a job well done hook up the hay wagon we're going for a ride Hee Haw
Very nice. However do not put your thumb around the starting handle, ie do not have the handle running between the thumb and index finger. If the engine backfires, it will quite likely break your thumb and possible your arm as well. You need to be prepared to allow the handle to kick back from your grip, so have your thumb beside the index finger so that if it kicks, it can leave your grip without taking your thumb with it. This appears to now be a common mistake when using the hand start method today, the proper way has not been taught to current operators. Also it is best to only pull up on the handle when starting as should the enging backfire on the down push, this could be nasty as your arm could be hit by the handle rotating in the wrong direction. If it backfires on the up pull, at least you are already pulling your arm out of the way. Lovely restoration.
Nothing is gonna happen. Think about farmers who used these machines in its glorious times. Farmers never complain or never get scared from getting hurt.
Ryan. your advice is good for old gasoline engined cars. But not for the Fordson tractor. These have a special magneto that automatically retards the spark when RPM is below a certain amount. If the timing is such that the engine runs ok and has anything like normal power, the timing is then such that kick back is impossible at the speed at which a human can crank it. Fordsons are somewhat hard to start. When it is cold, you often need to vigorously crank the engine several continuous turns so that it draws enough air (and therefore fuel) through the water-bath air cleaner to fire - as seen in this video. Also, they are low revving (operating beyond 1100 RPM is not permitted) and have a far heavier flywheel than a car engine. This means 2 things - it can take a couple of turns to build up a good cranking speed, and it cannot immediately turn backwards with much speed like a car engine readily can. On old car engines, you need to turn the engine over one full turn, then a quick pull up and they'll fire.
A good truck to drive

BELLEZA!!!! Felicitaciones por la restauración. Abrazo desde Argentina.
Had pleasure of driving these back in the 60's whilst in the TA. I do remember they could really motor and get over 70 mph quite easily. I guess they weren't very economical however, not that it mattered much in those days.
My grandad drove these and worked on them out in Dhekelia in Cyprus in 1963 he was in REME and was TA as well they had loads out there.
About 6 mpg if I remember correctly. The RL could be awkward to get back out of 4WD, but they were much better at speed than the MK, which was replacing them when I was in; at about 55 mph the MK developed a steering wobble; whereas the RL never seemed to.
Блэт я о нём узнал из ГТА онлайн.
Very nice but needs fenders
Great model f.
exhaust blown. what are you trying to prove driving round in circles.sort the lorry out first then show off
Well I for one enjoyed it 👍🏻🇬🇧
Hi, I am looking for 2 units of classic Bedford S type truck in a good working condition or refurbished with Left handed driving steering, please advise if you can assist with ? email: amdglz7@gmail.com +96897445272
Охуенный трактор с меня лайк
Beautiful restoration job looks as if it just came out of the showroom. Perhaps the carburettor needs adjusting to lessen the misfire. 1--1/2 turns for petrol on starting. 2--1/2 turns on kerosene when warmed up then fine adjustments.
One of the most elegant cabs ever built. The lines are superb.
Very good restoration, and what big fun to drive it!!!! Beautiful!!
I learnt to drive in one of these AND take my driving test! I passed first time.
Me too Richard, RAF St Athan, 1970, Instructor, Fred Scott B19 was my gallant mount.
And I did, in 1979. The handbrake cable broke at a junction; I told the staff sergeant examiner, who said, "OK son, just go through the motions and ride the clutch where you need to."
Great restoration,well done.
Sweet restoration
it runs wery well. how cold is out there ?
